3. Buy curtains. The color is up to your tastes, but you want them to be long enough to reach the floor. That's because cold air will fall as it hits the curtain. This will keep it behind the curtain instead of spilling out across your floor. The width should usually be twice as wide as your window for the proper folded look.<\/li>\n
4. Hook the curtains onto your curtain rod, and put it in place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
